Dr. Sarah Johnson graduated from Palmer Chiropractic College in 2001. She became a chiropractor after experiencing relief from chronic migraines. She experienced 2-3 migraines weekly until she learned about NUCCA care, now she rarely has migraines, maybe once a year for the past 20 years. This led her to learn more about the body and ultimately decided to go to Chiropractic school.
She has been practicing the upper cervical methods including NUCCA and Orthospinology since 2002. She has participated in countless hours of specialized training in NUCCA and Orthospinology. Currently, she is enrolled in the 3-year program for Diplomate of Cranio Cervical Junction Procedures by the International Chiropractic Association (ICA) which leads to a greater understanding of the dysfunction and possible complications of spinal trauma and misalignment.
Upon graduation, Dr. Johnson worked with Dr. Michelle Nowakowski and together they established Spine Wellness Center in Las Vegas in 2002, continually learning the best methods and current research while helping people get well.
While attending Palmer Chiropractic College, Dr. Johnson was an active member of various organizations on campus. She participated in the NUCCA Student’s Club and worked in the community with America Reads Program.
Dr. Johnson continues to be involved with community and charitable activities. Professionally, she works with the ICA, NUCCA and Orthospinology organizations. She likes to be active physically- currently a member of the awesome local gym Raw Fitness. She is driven to learn constantly, admires hard work and loves to become better at her chosen career. Her and her husband love to try new food, travel and explore new wines. They are often found cooking in the kitchen, experimenting with a new recipe or perfecting an old Carribean recipe. They have 2 dynamic children and love to see the world through their eyes.

Dr. Lisa Strickland has loved practicing in the Las Vegas area since 2004 as an Upper Cervical Chiropractor. In 1997 Dr. Strickland was a Licensed Massage Therapist, working in a NUCCA chiropractor’s office. After witnessing incredible changes in patients from week to week, Dr. Strickland quickly knew the next step in her career was to move to Davenport, Iowa to Palmer College of Chiropractic to become a NUCCA Chiropractor. She graduated from Palmer College of Chiropractic in 2003.
Dr. Strickland’s personal experience as a patient under NUCCA care had a big influence on her decision to go to chiropractic school: When she was 18 years old, she was in a car accident, in which her car was rear-ended. For treatment after the accident, she went to a chiropractor that she was referred to. This chiropractor adjusted the traditional way of chiropractic (with popping and cracking). She felt better, but she had to go 4 to 5 times a week for 3 weeks, after the 3 weeks it went down to 3 times a week. Even after a year of consistent care, she still suffered from low back pain and headaches, with not much relief. Four years after the car accident, Dr. Strickland started under NUCCA chiropractic care. Within just a couple of weeks of starting under NUCCA Chiropractic care, she realized she could live a pain free life again."
Dr. Strickland's passion is understanding the body's natural ability to self-heal and self-regulate when given the appropriate body input
In Dr. Strickland’s spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family which includes her husband and 2 children. She also enjoys learning healthy cooking and teaching her kids how to make better choices with food. Dr. Strickland and her husband plant a garden every spring at their home, in which the family enjoys the fresh vegetables throughout the summer.
