Are you looking for a natural way to relieve persistent headaches? Have you considered visiting a chiropractor in Las Vegas but are still determining what to expect? Then this blog post is for you. It will provide insight into the treatments offered at Las Vegas chiropractic clinics and how your visit may look so that you can feel more confident about finding safe, long-term relief from painful headaches. If you suffer from frequent or chronic headaches that interfere with your life, don’t delay – visit a local Las Vegas chiropractor today!

Preparing for your appointment

When it comes to headache chiropractor appointments, preparation is key. As you prepare for your visit, bring any relevant medical records and a list of current headache symptoms you’ve been experiencing. This information can help your headache chiropractor develop an effective treatment plan for you. To make the most of the time spent together during your appointment, think about what questions or concerns you may have and write them down. This way, you won’t forget any important topics you want to discuss with the headache chiropractor during your appointment. With advanced preparation, chances for successful headache relief through treatment increase significantly.

Discussing any medical history relevant to your headache

When visiting headache chiropractor Las Vegas for the first time, come prepared with any medical history relevant to your headache. This is essential in ensuring that the chiropractor understands your needs and provides a plan of action that works best for you. At this appointment, discussing your expectations of the session is also advisable. Knowing your end goals allows your practitioner to tailor the session to help meet those expectations as best as possible. In addition, keeping an open dialogue between yourself and your practitioner can help ensure that you both are on the same page when tackling the issue.

The chiropractic assessment

Las Vegas chiropractors can offer a comprehensive assessment of your overall health and spine, which may involve multiple tests and scans. Depending on the individual case, X-rays, MRI scans, physical exams, and medical history reviews could all be part of this assessment. Las Vegas patients need to discuss their medical history with their chiropractor to address all potential health concerns. Following the exam, depending on the results, your Las Vegas chiropractor may suggest additional treatments, therapies, and lifestyle changes to help ensure your spine stays healthy and pain-free.

The adjustment itself – techniques that are used

Headaches can be incredibly disruptive, making concentrating and completing everyday tasks difficult. Luckily, several techniques can be employed to make the adjustment more bearable. Visiting a chiropractor can be one of the most effective ways to combat a headache: trained experts who use gentle messages and manipulations to alleviate the pressure and strain on your body. In addition, relaxation exercises such as deep breathing and progressive muscle relaxation help relax tense muscles that might otherwise contribute to chronic headaches. Finally, lifestyle changes such as getting enough sleep, managing stress levels, avoiding caffeine and alcohol, and eating a balanced diet all help reduce tension headaches. With these techniques in mind, you can adjust to living with headaches while feeling empowered instead of overwhelmed.

Aftercare recommendations – stretches and activities to aid in recovery

One of the essential activities recommended for aftercare following a headache is stretching. Stretching helps reduce muscle tension by increasing flexibility and decreasing pain or discomfort. Working with a chiropractor can also help, as they can provide adjustments to help improve spinal mobility and adjust any misalignments in the vertebral column. Additionally, performing low-impact exercises such as walking or swimming helps strengthen muscles and increases blood circulation, which leads to faster and more effective recovery from headaches.

Follow-up appointments – planning with regular sessions as needed

Following up with a Las Vegas chiropractor is critical in achieving and maintaining better health. Regular follow-up appointments can help alleviate chronic headaches, target lingering pain, and relieve muscle tightness. By prioritizing time for future sessions, Las Vegas patients can ensure they get the best treatment results. Follow-up visits help chiropractors track your progress and monitor how well your body responds to therapy. Sticking to a schedule of routine follow-ups may be the key to reducing discomfort in the long run.

A visit to the chiropractor can be hugely beneficial when dealing with headaches. From preparing for your appointment and understanding its importance to knowing what to expect and the feeling of relief after a successful session, this can be an empowering experience you should no longer fear. By maintaining regular visits and engaging in holistic care, better relief from tension headaches is achievable. After all, a well-informed patient is always well-equipped for success! It may initially seem intimidating, but becoming comfortable with the process should be considered part of your healing journey. Don’t let those pesky tension headaches keep you down – take back control of your health by partnering with your chiropractor and taking a step towards well-being today!

The first step in finding the right chiropractor is to do your research. There are many different types of chiropractors, so it’s important to find one that specializes in the care you need. You can also ask for referrals from friends or family members who have had success with their chiropractors. Once you’ve narrowed down your options, take the time to schedule a consultation with each potential provider. This will allow you to learn more about their services and get a feel for their bedside manner. You can find the perfect chiropractor for your needs with a little effort!

Research the different types of chiropractors in Las Vegas:

If you’re looking for chiropractic care in Las Vegas, you may have to choose from a vast selection. Typically, the two groups of chiropractors are either traditional or alternative chiropractors. Traditional chiropractors focus on diagnosing and treating musculoskeletal injuries using manual therapies such as spinal manipulation and joint mobilizations. Alternative chiropractors often go beyond the traditional chiropractic approach by incorporating other treatments such as nutritional therapy, nutrition counseling, lifestyle modifications, massage therapy, and acupuncture into their practice. When researching chiropractor Las Vegas options, finding a provider that can meet your specific needs and provide the care you’re looking for is essential.

Read online reviews from past patients:

Finding the right doctor or medical professional can be lengthy and overwhelming, but online reviews from those who have already gone through it are invaluable. By reading the experiences of past patients, you can more accurately get an idea of the level of service you can expect to receive. Taking advantage of these reviews helps you decide with increased confidence and insight; it also provides extra comfort, knowing that other patients felt supported, safe, and cared for by their healthcare provider. Reading these reviews is just one step towards finding the best healthcare best suited for you and your family.

Schedule a consultation:

If you’re considering seeing a chiropractor, finding the right one can take some effort. Scheduling consultations with different practitioners is often a great way to judge which chiropractor would work best for your needs and comfort. At the appointment, ensure to bring some relevant medical information and ask questions about the chiropractor’s experience, certifications, and techniques so that you can understand how they operate. Once you have done this research, you will be better positioned to decide on the individual for your treatments.

Chiropractor’s experience and education:

When you decide to seek chiropractic care, it is crucial to take the time to do your research on the providers and make sure they are qualified for the job. Ask them about their experience and education, as this will help you assess their suitability for your needs. The best providers will have access to many continuing education courses and be able to discuss with you how recently they’ve taken advantage of these opportunities. They should also be licensed by the state in which they work and able to provide proof of any qualifications or certifications related to their practice. While finding all of this information might seem daunting at first, it’s a necessary step in ensuring quality chiropractic care for yourself, so don’t be afraid to ask questions!

Treatment methods:

Finding the right chiropractor for you is essential to treat your condition successfully. Before deciding on one, it’s important to find out their treatment methods and if they have experience treating your specific condition. Researching the office before committing to an appointment can be beneficial, as the various styles of chiropractic care vary in technique and philosophy. This can range from conventional care that includes manual adjustments to drug-free therapies such as massage, nutrition advice, and exercises tailored to your needs. These precautions will ensure that selecting a qualified chiropractor will help you achieve the best possible result for your condition.

Someone you feel you can trust:

Choosing a chiropractor can be an important decision, and it is essential that your chosen doctor has all the proper credentials and experience. However, another quality to pay attention to is the bedside manner of the chiropractor. It would be best if you felt comfortable enough with them to listen to their suggestions on lifestyle improvements, postural advice, etc. Also, ensure they’re someone you can trust and turn to when in need; they must have your best interests at heart. For example, when researching a potential chiropractor, consider how their level of communication could influence your care and decision-making. Trusting your instincts should help you decide if this is someone who will understand – and support – you best on your journey back to good health!

With so many options available, it is crucial to do your research when looking for a chiropractor in Las Vegas. Reading online reviews from past patients can give you an idea of the quality of care you can expect. Scheduling consultations with a few different chiropractors will allow you to find the one you feel most comfortable with. Be sure to ask about the chiropractor’s experience and education, as well as what type of treatment methods they use. Making sure the chiropractor has a suitable bedside manner is also significant. At Spine Wellness Center, our team of experts provide high-quality care and individualized treatment plans. Contact us today to schedule a consultation.

Many people with spinal stenosis in Las Vegas (as well as other conditions) have turned to opioids to manage their excruciating pain and discomfort. However, misuse of these pain medications has increased over the years, creating what many experts describe as an opioid epidemic. Based on information from the Centers for Disease Control, about 115 people in the United States overdose and die from the use of these medications each day.

Some people prefer to avoid opioids due to side effects and the potential for abuse and addiction. The good news is that opioids aren’t the only choice for pain management. In many situations, an excellent chiropractor in Las Vegas can ease the pain and discomfort associated with lower back pain, arthritis pain, and headaches, which are common among Americans.

What Is a Chiropractor and What Does One Do?

In the simplest of terms, chiropractors work with the spine of patients. They will look for misalignments and correct them using spinal manipulation. This means the chiropractor will use their hands to adjust the vertebra in the spine to ensure they are in the proper location.

Thankfully, pain is typically not caused by chiropractic treatments. Instead, patients experience pressure and a popping sound that can create immediate relief from some forms of pain.

How Do Chiropractors Help with Pain?

One of the most vital parts of the body is the spine. It makes up part of the central nervous system, which is responsible for many functions of the human body. When the spine has problems, the rest of the body will, too. On the flip side, when the health of the spine is boosted, the same occurs throughout the body.

This isn’t the only way that chiropractic care can help with pain relief. When the spine has misalignments, tension starts to build and eventually leads to pain. By having the spine aligned, the tension is relieved, and the body will have less pain overall.

Pain is associated with some other problem in the body. It isn’t a cause; it’s an effect. When a patient chooses to use prescription pain relievers, this masks the pain. However, it does not fix the cause of the pain, so it will come back. With chiropractic treatment, pain can be alleviated and prevented from coming back in the future.

While the most common chiropractic therapy involves the manipulation of the spine, this isn’t all a chiropractor in Las Vegas can offer. Chiropractors may offer manipulative or manual therapies, ergonomic training, and exercise and postural education. Many modern chiropractors work with surgeons, pain experts, and primary care doctors for a holistic method of treating patients.

Many chiropractors will also provide patients with information about changing their posture and biomechanics using various techniques and treatments. The main goal is to eliminate pain and help patients manage their conditions.

The Benefits of Choosing a Chiropractor in Las Vegas Instead of Pain Medication

Instead of going to a primary care physician for migraine treatment or spinal stenosis pain in Las Vegas, many would do well to consider other options. In many cases, patients experiencing pain will be prescribed pain medications by physicians that work to stop the pain temporarily.

On the other hand, a professional chiropractor can limit the need for prescription medications through physical treatments that ease pain over time when regularly visiting them.

A chiropractor:

Is Safer Than Pain Medication

Many prescription medications are associated with negative side effects like nausea or constipation. On the other hand, receiving neck decompression therapy in Las Vegas will leave a patient with no worries about these frustrating side effects.

In some cases, a patient might feel sore after seeing a chiropractor, but this is normal and will improve as time goes on. Every patient will need different types of treatment, but each of them will go through a physical exam to determine what sort of treatment is best for their needs.

Helps Identify Underlying Issues

Whether a patient is experiencing new pain from an injury or ongoing pain that doesn’t seem to get better, there are solutions to ease the pain using consistent therapy over time. Choosing an experienced chiropractor in Las Vegas can also fix problems before they have time to get worse.

In some cases, the practitioner will take x-rays to find the cause of an issue. After a cause is determined, treatments like neck decompression therapy can be used by a Las Vegas chiropractor to alleviate the pain.

Offers Care That Is Lasting

Prescription medication can ease pain in the short term, but it isn’t the kind of pain relief that lasts. Since patients need to keep taking medication to fight the pain, it can lead to problems like addiction. Seeing a chiropractor in Las Vegas is different. Treatment is done on an ongoing basis, and patients get better in time.

This is why it’s essential to follow up with the chiropractor to better understand what treatment is needed and how often it should be scheduled based on a specific individual’s needs. It’s similar to going out and exercising. As someone does it over time, it makes them feel better and better. Visiting the chiropractor regularly is an excellent way to prevent and alleviate pain.

Educates About the Body

Popping a pill to treat pain is an option. However, most patients will end up back at the physician needing to refill the prescription or increase the dose. Working with a chiropractor in Las Vegas gives patients a new understanding of how the body works, how it reacts to pain, and how to prevent and decrease further pain.

Knowing how the body works is an important step in keeping pain from running one’s life. Whether a patient is experiencing discomfort or serious pain, chiropractic treatment – including migraine treatment – in Las Vegas can be life-changing. The first step is to speak with an experienced chiropractor. From there, patients can start treatment and improve their pain levels and happiness with life.

And if you have lower back pain, it can severely limit your mobility which affects your quality of life. Fast and effective lower back pain treatment is possible through our spinal decompression system. Lower back pain can be caused by several issues including herniated disc, bulging disc, and facet syndrome.

This can lead to symptoms such as sciatica, which is pain that’s radiating from the sciatic nerve, running down one or both of your legs, numbness or tingling on the front or the side of the leg, or just weakness where your leg (s) cannot support your body weight, making you unable to walk normally or even walk at all.

That’s why we always strive to have the best non-surgical, spinal decompression technology to help treat your lower back problems in a fast and effective way so that you can get back to enjoying your life.

One of the latest and most advanced lower back treatment systems is the DRX 9000. It is a very effective way to treat herniated disc, bulging disc, and facet syndrome problems in the lower back area.

This treatment technology is different and more advanced than any other system in the market. We chose it for our practice for several reasons:

1. The DRX9000 can target a specific disc area

The level of precision on this system is unmatched. For example, if we know that there is a disc herniation at L4 or L5 and it’s causing sciatica, we can target that area specifically. That helps us treat the patient in a fast and effective way.

There is no time wasted.

2. The system automatically adjusts itself during treatment

The computer program in the DRX 9000 monitors the way the body reacts to the weight that is applied and adjusts 13 times every single second. The system checks for muscle tension or movement and automatically adjusts so that you get the same treatment the entire time.

This means that the treatment is more effective.

3. The success rate is as high as 88%

Clinical tests by reputable organizations such as Mayo and Harvard have rated this system’s success rate at 88% in treating herniated discs and degenerated disc problems. They tested the treatment on patients and found it to be highly effective with very low chances of recurrence of the problem.

How The DRX 9000 Works

The way that it works is that it creates a negative pressure within that disk space. What happens then is it brings portions of that disc back into itself because it creates a negative pressure or a suction-like pressure back into that disk area.

That suction-like pressure draws the nucleus pulposus (which is the jelly-like material) back into the disc. After a series of such treatments, the disk can be rehabilitated and the patient can enjoy being able to move normally without pain or discomfort.

With our advanced DRX 9000 machine, we are able to give you an effective, non-surgical cervical decompression treatment.

If you have been having constant neck pain, we can evaluate you to see if it is something we can treat using the DRX 9000 machine. This machine is the best in the market and it works by creating negative pressure (or suction) within the disk space to decompress it.

The beauty of this machine is that it is very precise and it can target a specific disc area. This makes the treatment quick and effective. What’s more, the machine can be set up specifically for each patient.

We understand that each patient has a different body size and shape, and they present with different symptoms. So, using the DRX 9000 machine, we can customize and adjust the treatment for each of our patients so that you are comfortable during treatment.

We begin with a range of motion test to check your head movement. How far can you move your head? Is there pain when you try to move your head on either side? Is your neck stiff causing you to turn with your entire body?

We also do muscle testing as well as test the nerve roots in the cervical spine. We will request an MRI and X-ray examination, if you haven’t done one recently, to help us understand better what is happening in there.

All the findings from these tests help us design a personalized treatment plan to correct your cervical spine problem. Usually, we design a 12-15 weeks treatment program to correct a cervical compression issue. At the end of the 12-15 week period, we evaluate your progress and either adjust your treatment plan or continue with the plan if it’s working for you.

Light is a common migraine trigger. When you’re having a migraine, it’s would be helpful to switch off the lights, maybe draw the curtains, and sit in the dark for a while until the migraine attack is gone.

Soften the noise

Just like light, noise is also a migraine trigger. During a migraine attack, even a little noise can feel like the sound of a clanging gong. So you want to soften the noise or move to a quiet place to stop the migraine.

A shot of caffeine

A couple of sips of your favorite caffeinated drink can help bring down migraine symptoms. This might take about 30 minutes to kick in but it has been found to work for migraine sufferers.

Stay hydrated

Water is obviously very important for your overall health, but for people who suffer from migraine headaches, it is absolutely critical to stay hydrated. Studies have shown that drinking water can not only reduce the frequency of migraine attacks but also the level of pain when they occur. So drink a lot of water and keep the migraines away.

Avoid strong scents

Strong scents and odors can trigger migraine attacks and even make the pain worse. So be sure to get away from such scents or stop the use of strongly scented products in your home or your office.

If you have tried all the above plus other forms of medication and you don’t seem to get better, friend, it’s time to check your head and neck alignment. And Upper Cervical Chiropractic Care is the treatment that does exactly that.

If you have a history of concussion, if you have had a car accident, or if you have hit your head skiing, in sports, and things of that nature, it’s very possible that you have a misalignment in your head and neck area. Now, that misalignment causes a miscommunication within your nervous system which can increase the frequency and severity of the migraines.

With the Upper Cervical Chiropractic Care treatment, you can get your neck and head realigned to the normal position. This will restore communication within the nervous system. And that means no more migraine attacks for you. What’s more, there’s no popping and there’s no twisting the spine when the realignment is done.

So book your appointment today and get this life-changing treatment for migraine headaches.

Eat dinner and all snacks 2 hours prior to bedtime. This gives the body digestion time to process the food. Also, prevent a sugar rush at bedtime.

Take a nice warm shower or a soak in the tub to refresh your body before bed time. Also, play some light music with bath time.

Diffuse some lavender in the room to help with relaxation.

Turn off all electronics at least 60 minutes before bedtime. The lighting on the electronics stimulates our brain blocking the shutdown for the night. Even our phones, as much as we think let me check this real quick. We all know that real quick easily turns into an hour. The blue light halts the production of the sleep inducing hormone melatonin.

When you lie down in your bed, relax your body, keep your legs uncrossed. Think in your mind, relax my feet, relax my legs, let the stress out, relax my low back, relax my neck, relax my arms, relax my fingers. Breathe thru each step of relaxing, release your body to rest. If a part still feels tight or stressed go back to the area again.

Life is full! You need quality sleep and rest! Take time to improve some self-help techniques for ourselves. Create new routines to make a better tomorrow. We can all agree, that when we have had a good night sleep it definitely makes for a better day. Get a good night’s rest to make for a better tomorrow!

You might like Tortoises in the desert, but we don’t want you to look like one!

Text Neck Syndrome is an ever increasing problem today. Most of us suffer from this uncomfortable condition to some degree. Todays fast paced life and demands on our time drive us to become more efficient in communication with those important to us. Did you know the average head weighs between 10 and 12 pounds? Our spine neck and muscles are designed to balance this important part of our anatomy at the very top of our body as the master controller of our every move.

This is why our neck is meant to act as an amazing spring in suspending our head over everything we do. The repetitive body position of looking down at our phone, tablet or computer device results in an upper body posture that extends the neck forward as in the above illustration. The further our head and neck is extended forward and focused downward, the more our head will effectively weigh placing an unnatural strain on our neck, shoulders and spinal column as a whole.

Signs and Symptoms of Text Neck

Instant upper back or neck pain when using a handheld device.

Nagging or sharp pain in the neck or shoulders at the end of the day.

General shoulder pain and tightness.

Intermittent or constant headache made worse when looking down or using the computer.

Leads to posture problems and related health issues.

What can you do about it?

Get off your feet- Lay down

Lie flat on back on floor or firm surface

Place a rolled (FIRM!) towel under neck to allow neck to fall back into extension (chin up).

Bend knees and place hands at the side of body.

Now that I have your attention- Let me share the following tips

How do I sit properly?

Keep your feet on the floor or on a footrest, if they don’t reach the floor.

Don’t cross your legs. Your ankles should be in front of your knees.

Leave small gap between the back of your knees and the front of your seat.

Your knees and hips at a 90º angles.

Adjust the backrest of your chair to support your low- and mid-back or use a back support.

Relax your shoulders and keep your forearms parallel to the ground.

Avoid sitting in the same position for long periods of time.

How do I stand properly?

Bear your weight primarily on the balls of your feet.

Keep your knees slightly bent.

Keep your feet about shoulder-width apart.

Stand straight and tall with your shoulders pulled backward.

Keep your head level-your earlobes should be in line with your shoulders. Do not push your head forward, backward, or to the side.

Good posture is the correct alignment of body parts supported by the right amount of muscle tension against gravity. Without posture and the muscles that control it, we would simply fall to the ground.

Good posture has many benefits for our bodies overall structure. It helps us keep bones and joints in correct alignment and allows the reduction of stress on the body minimizing the likelihood of injury. The muscles have the ability to work more efficiently reducing fatigue and using less energy when we have a good posture. Also, protects against muscle strain, overuse disorders and even back and muscular pain.

Several factors contribute to poor posture–most commonly, stress, obesity, pregnancy, weak postural muscles, abnormally tight muscles, and high-heeled shoes. In addition, decreased flexibility, a poor work environment, incorrect working posture, and unhealthy sitting and standing habits can also contribute to poor body positioning.

Arm/Hand Numbness and Tingling

Whiplash, also called neck sprain or neck strain, is an injury to the neck. Whiplash is a collection of symptoms that occur following damage to the neck. In whiplash, the intervertebral joints (located between neck bones), discs, and ligaments, cervical muscles, and nerve roots may become damaged.

What Causes Whiplash?

Whiplash is caused by an abrupt backward and/or forward jerking motion of the head, often as a result of a car accident.

Your symptoms following an accident may be delayed for 24 hours or more after the initial trauma. Some people who experience whiplash may develop one or more of the following symptoms, usually within the first few days after the injury:

Neck pain and stiffness

Headaches

Pain in the shoulder or between the shoulder blades

Low back pain

Pain or numbness in the arm and/or hand

Dizziness

Difficulty concentrating or remembering

Irritability, sleep disturbances, fatigue

Correctly Diagnosing Whiplash

In most cases, injuries are to the soft tissues such as the discs, muscles and ligaments, and cannot be seen on standard X-rays. Specialized imaging tests, such as CT scans or magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), may be required to diagnose whiplash.

Treatment

Even if you are not in pain following an accident, it is important to receive prompt attention to your injury, as the structural balance of your neck and spine is important to your health. We can assist in the assessment of your injury and your recovery by correctly adjusting your neck and/or spine so it has the correct position to heal. In addition, we can recommend physical therapy, non-surgical spinal decompression, stretching and strengthening exercises, and natural anti-inflammatories to put you back on the road to good health.

Take comfort in knowing that you’re not alone! Migraines affect more than 38 million Americans each year.

There are multiple types of migraines. With a common migraine, (which is about 80% of migraine headaches) there isn’t an aura (or a visual disturbance) before the migraine comes on. A person suffering from a classic migraine experiences an aura (the warning sign) before the migraine comes on. Classic migraines are usually much more severe.

Common Migraine Symptoms

Common symptoms of a classic migraine headache include visual changes, nausea, vomiting, light sensitivity, throbbing pain often limited to one side of the head and many others. This often leads to one wanting to hide in a quiet dark room until the throbbing pain lessens.

Migraines can cause you to miss work, miss time with your family and friends and get in the way of living your life and doing the things you love to do. These are memories that we can not get back, once they have passed. What kind of quality of life do you have if you are unable to do the things you love to do?

Why do I get Migraine Headaches?

A big question that many sufferers ask, why do I get migraine headaches. Most people don’t know why they get migraine headaches but there are various reasons. For some people, it may be due to something they eat; such as chocolate, MSG or even certain types of alcohol. Some people are just sensitive to different scents; whether flowery, woodsy, or just straight perfumey.

Then you have those that think “well, I am going to just skip breakfast,” which can lead to a late morning migraine, commonly around 10:30 am. Is this migraine headache just due to starving the body, dehydration, and/or low blood sugars? Would the easy solution be to just grab a little breakfast to prevent this nagging migraine?

If someone is experiencing higher than normal stress, this can lead to a migraine headache. Whether the stress is emotional, financial or work related, stress can hinder the body in many ways. One being, migraine headaches tighten and tense the muscles in the body, causing an inability to sleep.

Most people take some sort of pain reliever or powerful prescription drug specific for migraine headaches. This prescription drug for migraines typically knocks you out for a few hours to get rid of the headache. When you wake up, it may be hanging on just a little bit, or it could be completely gone. Some of you miss work or miss your child’s school functions until the migraine starts to pass. Some of you seek out alternative therapies like massage, chiropractic and acupuncture.

Migraine Treatment with Upper Cervical Chiropractic Care

Upper Cervical Chiropractic Care has helped many people have fewer migraines and sometimes even eliminate migraines all together. Upper Cervical Chiropractic Care is a type of treatment which involves realigning the top of the neck and head to its normal position increasing communication within the nervous system. This requires no popping or twisting to the neck or back.

The head and neck go off the center of gravity or out of whack usually because of accidents, falls, injuries and normal wear and tear. Some of the injuries are simple bumps on the head, sports injuries, car accidents. When this happens, many people report pain or tension in the neck that lead to migraine headaches

No More Migraine Headaches!

Many of our patients say things like, “no more migraines” or “I haven’t missed a day of work because of migraines all year” and “I can’t remember the last time I felt this good”.

For you; does it feel like your migraines have been there all your life or should we say FOREVER! Fortunately, there are many ways to treat both the symptoms and the underlying causes. NUCCA Chiropractic care can help these symptoms relating to neck pain and stiffness. Keep in mind, chiropractic targets the cause of the pain and helps in turning the system back on for optimal function as a whole at the same time bringing the body back to the center of gravity.

Nearly 65 million Americans report a recent flare up of back pain. Approximately, 10 percent of all adults — experience persistent back pain, and as a result are limited in certain everyday activities such as simple things like doing laundry or washing dishes. For some, a simple walk around the block is a dream due to the terrible back pain. Back pain is the sixth most costly condition in the United States.

What causes persistent back pain?

Repeated heavy lifting or a sudden awkward movement may strain back muscles and spinal ligaments. If you’re in poor physical condition, constant strain on your back may cause painful muscle spasms, bulging or herniated discs. The discs between each vertebra act as cushions between the bones (vertebrae) in your spine. Over time, the discs can flatten and thin out leaving the area more weak. As the vulnerability continues, something as simple as bending forward or brushing your teeth can throw your back out. Leaving you on your back for days and days at a time. The first couple times you throw your back out, it might go away all on its own.

Six months later, you lift a heavy box, you drop to your knees, your back just went out. You are stuck! HELP NOW! Small movements or twisting can create burning or stabbing pain, or pain that moves down your legs.

Commonly we are asked will the pain ever go away?

The short answer, yes, the pain can go away. We must keep in mind how long the pain has been there. It hasn’t just been just 2 days because you have had this pain before but it was not treated it just went away (or so you thought). Here is what really happened, you rested and stayed off your feet and the pain went away but the body is still in a weak position.

Many patients are told they must have injections, nerve ablation, pain medicine for the rest of their life, and even surgery before they have tried proven non invasive measures. Most patients have tried 2-3 things before they even meet us.

With Non- Surgical Spinal Decompression and NUCCA, we do not force the misalignment back into place with popping or harsh twisting. Instead, we work with the body’s own neurology.

Before you risk damaging your stomach with daily NSAID’s, getting addicted to opioids, or having a major surgery, give Spine Wellness Center a call at (702) 433-8333. We have helped so many people who were close to giving up hope. There is a better way to fix low back pain.

We listen. We care. We get results.

Are you missing out on work due to neck pain? Do you need effective neck pain treatment? Let me tell you, you do not have to live with neck pain!

Are there times that you hurt so bad, that it just seems easier to stay home in bed? Does it feel like this pain will never go away? What if I said there is a way that you can receive effective neck pain treatment?

Many people suffer from neck pain every day, so many people will write off neck pain to “well it’s all part of getting older.” Or, “it’s just how it is,” or “well I have arthritis I have to live with it.” What if I told you, “you don’t!”

How did I get this neck pain?

You might know exactly how your neck pain started. Neck pain can be caused from a variety of situations. Accidents and injuries can cause herniated discs and pinched nerves. If a person sits at a desk all day on a computer, the body can become stiff and fatigued. With fatigue of the body, a person will tend to slouch more rolling shoulders more forward, leading to anterior head carriage. As the body gets comfortable in the slouch position it becomes our normal position and becomes challenging to sit up straight. Bad body mechanics, repetitive motions and doing exercises incorrectly are all things that can injure the neck area, creating the neck pain that many people are experiencing every day!

How do the muscles and vertebrae aid in stabilizing the neck?

The top two neck bones in the neck help us look behind us. The lower five neck bones will aid in looking up and down and tilting from side to side. Let us not forget about the work the muscles and tendons do. They are responsible for the movements, and they are also the stabilizers of the neck. If the muscles are not receiving enough blood and oxygen flow, the muscles will tend to be tight and stiff, have a throbbing sensation, or even muscle cramping which will lead to neck pain!

Can NUCCA and Spinal Decompression Care Help My Neck Pain?

With NUCCA chiropractic care, we can help the body to start the alignment process to reduce the neck pain and stiffness. With Drugless Non-Surgical Spinal Decompression, we help the disc space and herniations that are in the neck. Keep in mind, it takes more than just one neck pain treatment to correct the problem. It takes time and consistent care to correct the underlying issue and to get the body on the healing path.

Neck Pain Relief through Chiropractic Care

For you, does it feel like your neck pain has been there all your life or should we say “FOREVER?” Fortunately, there are many ways to treat both the symptoms and the underlying causes. NUCCA Chiropractic care and Non-Surgical Spinal Decompression can help these symptoms relating to neck pain and stiffness. Keep in mind, we target the cause of the pain, and this helps your neck get back in place and gets you on track for optimal function as a whole.
